Nadine Fernandez Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nadine Fernandez. Nadine passed away far too soon at her home on February 18th, 2023, surrounded by those who loved her. Nadine was born March 5, 1966, to Christa Cordes, a native of Wiesbaden, Germany and Richard Fernandez, of Pittsburg California. Where she was also a lifelong resident. Nadine spent her career with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and retired after nearly 19 years of service. Those who knew Nadine, knew of her commitment to her family. Nadine worked hard to ensure the success of her daughter and three grandchildren. Through her faith in God, she was able to overcome many obstacles in life. Nadine will always be remembered for her resilience, honesty, strong will, and compassion. Nadine is survived by her daughter Camille Lascano, sister Daniela Hasenzahl, grandchildren: Manuel Lopez, Damien Long, and Amiyah Oto along with many cousins and friend's. Nadine was preceded in death by her father Richard Fernandez and mother Christa Cordes. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 10:00am with funeral service starting at 11:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Repast to follow at the Moose Lodge 12 Moose Way, Pittsburg, California.
