He is survived by: his wife Renee Merrill; his children, Kristin Shaw-Goetz (Tom) of Alexandria, VA and Steven Shaw of Buena Park, CA; his granddaughter Allison Goetz of Alexandria, VA.; and his siblings, Leah Duncan and Les Shaw of Boulder Creek, CA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
