He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pappas and Mary Pappas; his wife Rose Billeci; his daughter Mary Pappas; and his brothers, James, Frank and Tony Pappas.

He is survived by: his daughters, Francella Biles (Stephen), Kathleen Vare (Barry), Vanessa and Deneilia Pappas; his grandchildren, Alexis Fesinmeyer (Mike), Rebecca, Matt, Dennis Biles, Kerry Crespo (Jaimme), Kyle Pifer (Vilma), Kraig Pifer (Roxanne) and Big Nanu; and his great grandchildren, Derek, Zachary, Niko Fesinmeyer, Mariah Biles, Victor and Adriana Crespo.
