He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Silva of Pioneer, CA; his children, Carol McDermott of Reno, NV, Mark Silva of San Francisco, CA and Michael Silva of Redwood City, CA; his stepchildren, Jennifer Giunta of Sonora, CA and Brian Reed (Wen) of Redwood City, CA; and his grandchildren, Christine McDermott, Jessica McDermott and Connor Reed.
