He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta Messick and Orion Messick; and his son Kelly Messick. He is survived by: his wife Jenee Messick; his daughter Krista Weyer; his son-in-law Joe Weyer; his grandchildren, Harley Weyer, Logan Weyer and Gage Messick; his brother Don Messick; his sisters-in-law, Sue Messick, Judy Weaver and Cindy Martin; and also Mary Hanson.
