It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hovey (Pine Grove, California), born in Spooner, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 30, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel May June (Lager) and James Lyle Hovey. He is survived by: his wife Babette Hovey of Pine Grove, CA; his children, Chris Hovey (Deanna) of Modesto, CA, Heidi Wright (Chris) of Lakewood, CO, Julia Maynard (Mike) of Brentwood, CA, Karin Hornbaker (Erik) of Camino, CA and Diane Durham (David) of Brentwood, CA.; and his sisters, Rena Recko (Hovey) of Gardnerville and Karen Miller (Fred) of Gardnerville. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
