He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert A. Kwist and Leora Daniels Kwist of Colorado Springs; his son Jeff Kwist of Las Vegas, NV; and his grandchildren, Ciara, Hunter and Tommy Bennett of Ione, CA..
He is survived by: his siblings, Dana Kwist and Kathy Morey of Colorado Springs; his daughters, Alicia Kwist Bennett of Ione, Janine Kwist of Pine Grove, Karla Kwist of Las Vegas and Kimberly Kwist (Christopher Kwist) of Las Vegas; and his grandsons, Mason Murdock of Plymouth, Markos, Bennett (Jessica), Tyler and Tim Kwist.
Donations in his memory can be made to Infinite Paws Abilities which rescues dogs from shelters, provides them with expert training from dedicated incarcerated trainers and ultimately finds them loving forever homes.
