He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Beneatta and Richard Stanley Ramsey; his stepfather John C. Peterson; his wife Barbara; his siblings, Stanley York and Hazel Lois; his brother-in-law Alex C. Freeland; and his nephew Ricky Marvin Freeland.
He is survived by: his nephews, David and Darin Freeland; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebecca Freeland, Nicole Reyes (Raymond), Miranda, Andrew and William Freeland; and also, Debbie and Manjula.
