He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Hansen and Evelyn Hansen; and his sister Beverly Deniz (Earnest Deniz). He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Shay Ribeiro (Mark Ribeiro) and Chad (Tammy Buza); and his granddaughters, Lucia and Mila Ribeiro. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a memorial contribution be made to St. Jude for children.
