Though Max may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Max touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean and George. He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi Russello (Matt) and Jennifer Peterson; his wife Joni Peterson; his granddaughters, Mia and Ava; and his sisters, Amy Sabourin (Greg), Ann Bourne (Rich) and Susan Nowacki (Dean). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Petaluma High School FFA or the Petaluma Educational Foundation in memory of Max A. Mickelsen.
