It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Farinha of Petaluma, California, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Farinha; her daughter Tina Melo; her grandson Johnny Melo; and her parents, João Gomes of Borba and Egito Borba.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Miller, Fernanda Gerhardt, Irene Correia, Arthur Farinha and Al Farinha; her grandchildren, Jimmy, Michael, Erica, Michele, Dean, Art, Cherie, Richie, Kris and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Andreas, Ruby, Kylie, Aria, Dominic, Adeline, Ava, Luca and Jaeden; her sister Rose Bertao; and her sons, John Melo, Tony Miller, Wayne Gerhardt, Aurelio Correia and Magda Bettencourt (Karreen Farinha).
