Though Carole may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Maas and Frances Maas; and her husband Karl Barrell. She is survived by: her sisters, Paula Graves and Marsha Perry; her children, Tony, Marianne, Peter and Karla Barrell; and her grandchild Hailey Barrell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Carole and Karl's retirement was marred by his illness; he contracted Parkinson's at 59.
