It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Bittinger of Petaluma, California, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Bittinger and Mary Louise; and his brothers, Rolland and Phillip. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Bittinger (Larsen); his children, Marlow Herron of Lake, Carl Bittinger Jr. of Ottowa, IL, Jackie Wells of Bullhead City, AZ and Scott Bittinger of Hoffman Estates, IL; his grandchildren, Sebastian Wydra-Bittinger, Chloe Wydra, Zachary Bittinger and Nicki Clark; his great grandchild Paris Clark; and his sisters, Caroline Evans of Elgin, IL and Norma-Jean Bittinger of Pingree Grove, IL..
