She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandchildren, Mario Grossi (Shannon), Christine Nunes (Sergio), Kayla Dufour, Byron Nelson, Zachary Nelson (Lindsey), Shelby Nelson and Mallory Nelson; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Brooke and Kasey Nelson; her siblings, Jesse "Babe" Amaral, Joe Amaral and Terri Doss; and her parents, Annabel Green and Jesse Amaral. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
