She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Clapper and Martha Clapper (Haines); her husband Clarence "Conky" Schmidt; her son Gary Schmidt; and her brothers, Eldon "Ike" Clapper and Dwayne "Porky" Clapper.
She is survived by: her son Michael Schmidt (Pamela) of Paso Robles, CA; her sister Charlotte Reynolds of Magnolia; and her granddaughter Brianna Schmidt. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
