He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Minnis and Norma Minnis (Schreck); and his siblings, Thomas, Steven Minnis and Bonnie Edwards (Minnis) of Pennsylvania.
He is survived by: his wife Carolynne Minnis (Harris); his son Kenneth Jon Minnis; his grandchildren, Alexandrea Minnis-Hernandez (David), Mark Minnis, Jake Minnis of Paso Robles, Hazel Yardley and Pearl Yardley of Bradley; his great grandchild Mia Isabella Hernandez; his father-in-law John Harris; his brother-in-law Jeff Harris (Lynnette) of Bradley; and his siblings, Richard Minnis (Joyce), Anita Becker (Rick) and Cynthia Splitstone (Don) of Pennsylvania.
