She is survived by: her husband Donald Van Steenwyk; her child Dr. Kedrin Van Steenwyk (Liam Duggan) of Kiawah Island, SC; her grandchildren, Meghan, Liam, Alison, Kieran and Kevin; her son Matthew Van Steenwyk (Betty Van Steenwyk) of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Todd and Gretchen; her son Dr. Brett Van Steenwyk (Debbie) of Bellingham, WA; her grandchildren, Donald, Charles and Emma; her daughter Dr. Gretchen Marsh (Jon Marsh) of Reno, NV; her grandsons, Michael, Aaron, Don Kerry, Andrew and Matthew; her child Colonel Robert O. Gray (Catherine) of Dayton, OH; and her grandson Daniel.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that Elizabeth be remembered with contributions to one of the following: Paso Robles Library Foundation, Knox College of Galesburg, Ill., or the Pasadena Methodist Foundation.
