He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Bergren and Agnes Louise Bergren (Haffner); and his sister Pat (Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Susan Darlene Richardson; his daughters, Diane, Tracy and Kirsten; his grandchildren, Brett, Seth, Oliver, Massimo, Sara, Megan and Katie; and his friends, Kathy and Gary Arden. He is also survived by his three children, seven grandchildren, two brothers in law, several cousins, two nephews, and four nieces.
