Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sumi leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Morimoto (Pamela) and Evelyn Morimoto (Roy Barragan); her stepsons, William (Celeste) and Peter Hughes (Loretta); her grandchildren, Kristen, Jake Barragan, Sammy, Miya Hughes and Haley Hughes of Oregon; and her sister Yuri Long. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
