She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Hatate; her brothers, Tom Tsutomu (Rose Masako) and George Yusa (Suyeko); and her great-nephew Michael Harami. She is survived by: her nieces, Lorraine Woody (David), Judy Kam (Franklin) and Jean Osaka (Richard); her great-nephews, Daniel Osaka, Spencer Kam (Lori) and Evan Kam; and also Hannah Kam.
