She is survived by: her husband Shig; her daughter Leslie Kawai (J. Lopez); her granddaughter Tara Kawai; her stepchildren, Chris Kawai (Elaine) and Shelley Kammler; and her sister-in-law Irene Honda. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
