He was predeceased by: his parents, Jusuke Hayashi and Yuki Hayashi; and his sister Shizue Hayashi-Nemoto. He is survived by: his wife Dora Reyes Hayashi of Parlier; his children, George Hayashi of Parlier, Andrew Almaraz of Fresno, Lourdes Hernandez of Reedley, Cynthia Patlan of Reedley and Marleen Lara of Henderson, Nevada; and his siblings, Hiro of Parlier, Tom Hayashi of Parlier, Aiko Mayfield of Reedley, Chiyoko Hayashi of Minnesota and Toshiko Shiraga of Oregon. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
