He is survived by: his wife Maria Betancourt of Parlier; his children, Baldemar Betancourt of Lemoore, Hilda Pena of Kingsburg and Alicia Viveros of Parlier; and his brothers, Arturo Betancourt of Parlier and Lindolfo Betancourt of Parlier. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
