He is survived by: his children, Matthew and Teaching; his wife Jackie Owens of Paradise; his sister Carol Owens of Lakewood, WA; his children, Marthe Fortman of Sequim, Paul Owens of Shelton, WA., Seth Owens of Bellingham, WA. and Mathew Owens of Blaine, WA.; and his stepdaughter Susie Doyle of Paradise. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
