He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Baran and Estocia Zuvich Baran; his stepmother Nina Baran; his brother Tony Zuvich; his sister-in-law Winifred Zuvich; his sister Mary Zuvich Misetich; his brother-in-law Dominick Misetich; his nephews, Dominick George Misetich, Jack Misetich and Craig Spydell; his sister Anne Zuvich Uskovich; his brother-in-law Sam Usovich; his nephew Samuel Anthony Uskovich; his sister Millie Zuvich Falcone; and his brother-in-law Benedict Falcone.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Morf Baran; his son John Morf Baran (Laurie Brotherton Baran); his grandson Jason Baran (Greyci Baran); his great grandchildren, Jack Baran, Ford Baran and Harper Baran; his grandchildren, Jonathan Baran and Jenna Baran; his daughter Lynn Baran McCarthy (Ted Leary); his granddaughter Veronica McCarthy; and also Jeffrey Baran (Brittany Baran). He is also survived by many nieces (grand-nieces) and nephews.
