He was predeceased by: his sibling Grace Ann Kumer. He is survived by: his spouse Carol Kumer (Ploesch); his children, Lisa Schertler (Mark), John Kumer (Christel) and Kathryn Sheldon (Patrick); his grandchildren, Max, Ryan, Jack, Roxanne, Liam, Jane and Charlie; and his siblings, Martin Kumer and Max Kumer (Evie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
