He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Florez and Mary Florez; his wife Frances Florez; his children, David Florez (Christy), Erlinda Beddulla (Jim) and Andrea Florez; and his siblings, Margaret Vasquez and Joe Florez. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cancer Society and The Cardiac Care Unit at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto.
