It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Christensen Tanner of Palo Alto, California, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus Eugene Christensen and Elizabeth Catherine Burton. She is survived by: her siblings, Katherine, William (Budge) and Eugene; her husband Joseph Blaine Tanner; and her children, Lane (Christine), Terry Merchant (Michael Merchant), Chris (Jean Illingworth), Bill (Susan Heath), Kitzi (Dan Marchant) and Greg (Rosalie Schuette). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
