Dorothea Vasil Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothea Vasil (Palo Alto, California), who passed away on March 11, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John G. Vasil; her children, Caterina Vasil Peterson (Don) of Los Gatos, Joanna Vasil Giargiari (Robert) of Zephyr Cove and Nikos Kolyvas (Anna) of Ithaca, Greece; her grandchildren, Annalise Dienstbier, Alexandra Dienstbier, Gabriella Peterson, Gianna Peterson and Dora Kolyvas; her siblings, Coralia Grivas Ioannou (Yanni) and Dionisios Grivas (Maro); and her parents, John Grivas and Hytho Grivas. She was also cherished by loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service is limited to family.
