William Kanter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Kanter (Palm Springs, California), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 9, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eddy Kanter and Sallee Davis Kanter; his wife Gail Goff Kanter; his sons, Brian Kanter of Redwood City and Rabbi Greg Kanter (Mike Merrill); his granddaughters, Emily and Alayna of Charleston, SC.; and his children, Cassi Newman of Palm Springs, Randall Mills and Cheri Taylor (Frank) of Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palm springs Historical Society or Palm springs Firemen's Association.
