She was predeceased by: her mother Amelia "Pat" Hannawalt; her husband Hop VanHosen; her father Norman MacLachlan; and her sister Patty Sutton. She is survived by: her children, John Shoemaker (Cindy) and Sheryl Griffin (Mike); her grandchildren, Courtney Carrera (Luis), Branden Shoemaker, Brittany Shoemaker-Martinez (Anthony), Nathan Griffin (Emily) and Kyle Griffin; her great grandchildren, Aidan Carrera, Ethan Carrera, Verity Martinez, Lyren Martinez and Cora Griffin; her niece Kathy Diaz; and her great-nephew Brian Diaz.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Wiefel's & Son (690 Vella Rd, Palm Springs, CA 92264). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518).
