He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Hallows and Ralph Hallows; his wife Gudrun Rathje; his sibling Falls; his daughters, Holly Langdon (Lauren), Stacy Shelton (Joe) and Lori Jackson (Rob); and his sister Penni Janes. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grand children.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcome to the local animal shelter where Steve rescued his beloved Josie, a female boxer dog.
