It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Preston Beach-Barrow (Palm Springs, California), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Macomis and Violet Sehl Barrow. He is survived by: his pet Carolina; his husband Duane Beach-Barrow (Dirk) of Palm Springs; his siblings, John (Linda) of Loveland, CO and Violet Swanson (Carl) of Boston, MA; and his friend Howard Helmly of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Robert's name to either The Altar Guild Fund at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Palm Springs, California, or The AIDS Assistance Program/Food Samaritans, Palm Springs, California.
