We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2020, at the age of 88, James Hays (Palm Springs, California), born in Muskegon, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hays and Frances Hays (Kraley); his former wife Joan Hays (Witkowski); his son James R. Hays, Jr. of Minneapolis, MN; and his brother Ron Hays.
He is survived by: his pets, Pebbles and Peekaboo; his wife Constance "Connie" Lynn; his children, Janet Perreault (Kreg) of Muskegon, Harlen Hays (Liesl) of Lees Summit, MO, Jill Deephouse (Dan) of Cottage Grove, MN, Jack Decker of Minneapolis, MN and Lisa McIntyre of Phoenix, AZ; his brothers, Bill Hays, Jerry Hays and Gordon Hays; and his brother-in-law Dick Ferry. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
