It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hortencia Duran (Palm Springs, California), born in Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on October 18, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Davis and Esperanza Davis; her sons, Joseph Duran Jr and Harold "Arnold" Duran; her daughter-in-law Romina Duran; her grandchildren, Henry Garcia, Desiree Garcia-Dailey and Cody Duran; and her great grandchild Nickel Bird.
She is survived by: her significant other Joseph Hernandez Duran; her children, Bob (Sandy), Dan (Brenda), Ron (Debbie), John (Esther), Louie, Sam (Yesenia), Carol Nunez (Ezekiel) and Diane Nelson (Brett); her daughter-in-law Denise Duran (Arnold); and her siblings, Virginia Rodriguez (Gilbert), Raymond "Kaiser" Davis and Willie Davis. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
