He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady R. Burkett and Gladys Mulledy Dobscha (Burkett); and his daughter Wendy Burkett Priet (Carolyn Roomsburg Burkett). He is survived by: his son Michael Burkett; his son-in-law Lee Stanford of Palm Springs, CA; and his grandchildren, Kayla Turner (Josh) and Dylan Priet (Kaitlin) of Berkeley Springs, WV.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and five grand fur babies.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory (2807 Northwestern Turnpike, Capon Bridge, WV 26711). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
