Brian Bruce John McArthur Obituary

McARTHUR, Brian Bruce John - Son of Robin McArthur and Corinne Davy (Bostrom), brother of Wayne McArthur (wife Charlotte) and Derik McArthur (wife Susan) and proud father of his only child, Jillian Rachel McArthur. Brian passed away at his home in Palm Springs, California, on Saturday, July 22, 2017, aged 55.

Brian's diverse career in Labor Relations spanned more than 25 years. His passion for his profession resulted in hundreds of successful negotiations thanks in no small part to his fair-minded and balanced approach coupled with strategic planning and creative delivery to produce win-win results.

One of Brian's greatest passions in life was world travel. He was enamoured by Japan, where him and his daughter (Jillian) shared a strong connection, as well as Buenos Aires and many of the small towns in England he visited over the years. Brian loved places with both history and sunshine.

While Brian's final years on earth were a struggle, he had turned a major corner and was regaining his health and he looked forward to bright, new opportunities. Brian was an amazing man who leaves a huge hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your local SPCA or a charity of your choice in Brian's honour would be appreciated.
