He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sally Duran; his children, Alfred Duran, Jr., Nellie Duran and Amy Duran; and his grandchildren, Alfredo Calderas, Sara Calderas, Esperanza Calderas-Richart and Ava Sally Trevino. He was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
