It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ries of Palm Desert, California, born in New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Martin and Cecilia Martin (Pies). She is survived by: her husband Harold Ries of Palm Desert, CA; her children, Brett Ries (Tina) of Bakersfield, CA, Dawn McKinnie (Joe) of El Centro, CA, Bartt Ries (Laura) of Holtville, CA and Braddy Ries (Roxanne) of La Quinta, CA; her grandchildren, Randy, Jared, Kalli, Brandon, Tristan, Madison, Paige and Skylar; her great grandchildren, Keanu, Evalette, Isla and Violette; and her sister Catherine.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 42230 Deep Canyon Road, Palm Desert, CA 92260.
