He is survived by: his daughter Terry Platz; his son-in-law Jim Platz; his son Thomas Textor; and his grandchildren, Willem Platz, Samuel Schrader, Alexa Schrader, Jacob Textor, Mary Gilbertson and Tink Gilbertson.
He had lived on his own since the passing of his beautiful wife Sylvia, who died from Alzheimer's disease in 2014.
