She was predeceased by: her parents, William Matthew Gaston and Mildred Emma Armstead Gaston; her husband Norman Wendel Waitt of Sioux City; and her half-brother George Clifford Gaston. She is survived by: her children, Norman W. Waitt Jr. (Karleen), Cynthia Louise Waitt (Eric Blumberg), Marcia Joan Waitt (Terry Nelson) and Theodore William Waitt (Michele); her grandchildren, Benjamin Waitt Hunnel (Cassie Thompson Hunnel), Stephanie Frances Puddy Campbell (Bruce Campbell III), Hailey Peschel Waitt, Samuel Armstead Waitt, Emily Rose Waitt, Natalie Elizabeth Waitt-Gibson, Maxwell Griffin Waitt and Sophia Marie Waitt; her great grandchild Bruce Jackson Campbell IV; and her granddaughters, Madeline Scott Campbell and Olivia Joan Campbell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
