As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jackie Maner (Baker); his son Bill; his sister Dorothy; and his friend Kari Gray. He is survived by: his daughter Robin Hertlein. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
