He is survived by: his friend Gordy Ablitt; his former wife Carol; his wife Carol of Palm Desert; his brother John of Carpinteria; his sons, Fred (Kathy) of Oxnard, David (Shelley) of Carpinteria and Gary (Coco) of Thousand Oaks; and his stepchildren, Pam Stein of Palm Desert, Jeff Schuknecht (Sharon) of La Quinta, Jennifer Guzman (Chad) of Gilbert and Greg Schuknecht (Sandra) of Palm Desert. He is also survived by grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
