He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent San Francisco; his friend Cliff Waterman; his wife Ursula (Hoch); his sister Eva of San Francisco; his sons, Don (Mary Lyn) of Belmont and Dennis (Joanne) of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Emma, John, Max, Erika and Jenna.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (msfocus.org).
