He was predeceased by: his adoptive mother Katherine Zappien; his parents, Gregorio Romero and Katherine; and his sister Lee. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Eric Romero (Frances), Kim Russell (Kevin) and Shelly Douglas (Michael); his grandchildren, Dustin, Devin, Danielle, Bobby, Ryan, Jack, Emily and Bradley; and his great grandchildren, Adriana and Emilia.
