He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Antoinette Rius and Harry Earl Pool; his grandfathers, Boomps, Thomas Geddes, Kelly, Patrick Geddes, Tayler, Stan Lewin, Ross Lewin, Alex and Jessie Purpura; his brother Chuck Ruffner; and the mother of his children Maureen Fallon Pool.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Highlander-Pool; his children, Maryann (Andy Geddes), Clare (Andy Purpura) and Eileen (Ron Lewin); his sister Sally; his children, Sheron Ruffner, Gayle Tirri, Brenda Fischer, Shelly Bettencourt, Mark and Chuckie Ruffner; his siblings-in-law, Ron and Sharon Highlander; his nephews, Eric and Christopher Highlander; his sister-in-law Jane Fallon; and his caregiver Jill Bryon.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, Multiple Sclerosis Association, or Veterans of Foreign Wars.
