He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Scatena and Vincent Scatena; his wife Lana Scatena; and his sister-in-law Linda Garcia. He is survived by: his daughter Gina; his son-in-law Russ Groom; his daughter Liza Scatena-Martinez; his son-in-law Jon Martinez; his son Donald; his daughter-in-law Shana Scatena; his daughter Angela Scatena (Travis Nuckolls); his grandchildren, Melina Coleman, Gabriella Coleman, Dante Groom, Luca Scatena, Vincent Coleman, Ava Scatena and Maxton Martinez; his sister Christina; his brother-in-law Richard Diestel; and his brother Larry Scatena.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014). A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Peter Church (700 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica, CA 94044).
