He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McCann and Madaline McCann (Hovel); his siblings, Madeline "Sis" McCann, Herbert McCann (Lois), Ernest McCann (Phyllis), Frank McCann (Lucille), Joseph McCann and Patrick McCann (Marlene); and his brother-in-law Darryl Carper.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Ringius) of Monterey, CA; and his sisters, Kathleen McCann of Grand Forks, ND, Agnes (Dennis), Hindemith of Omaha, NE and Margaret Carper of Grand Forks, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
