He was predeceased by: his wife Else Elizabeth Lamontgne Kim. He is survived by: his former wife Sumiko; his daughter Shireen Sumiko Kim Johnson (Jerry); his grandchildren, Scott Samuel Johnson (Allison), Jerry Dean Johnson II and Alexandria June Johnson Bushnell (Tyler); and his brother Abraham. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, Samuel's family requests contributions be made to the Shriners Hospital for Northern California, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817.
