It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert Graham Jenkins (Pacific Grove, California), who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Elizabeth "Betty"; and his daughter Elizabeth "Beth" Kidnie. He is survived by: his children, John Craig Jenkins and Anne (Stephen Turner) of Kitchener, Ontario.; his son-in-law Peter Kidnie; his grandchildren, Reid (Caroline), Sean Kidnie (Shawna) and Emma Kidnie (Liam); and his great grandchildren, Ellie Kidnie and Jack Kidnie.

He was a member of the Carmel Foundation and an active member of its Men's Discussion Group.

“I knew John briefly as a member of the Carmel Foundation men's discussion group and walking group and enjoyed many conversations we had together. I had no idea of his many accomplishments academically and otherwise, although I did realize he was a professor emeritus from MIIS. Since I talked with him only a few weeks ago, I was very surprised to hear of his passing. He will be deeply missed by the men's discussion group, the walking group and me personally. Michael Wilson”
